A blue diamond in the far left column means I am looking for the can. An arrow in the far left column means there is a link to picture of the can.*The first or earliest J-spout cans had flat Bottoms and are listed in the third column.

After the first few months they all had concave bottoms. J-spouts were likely produced starting in mid or late 1937. It is thought that the cans produced in the fourth column were largely produced from 1938 until  1941. Many matching crowntainers were produced (some concurrently, some consecutively) starting in very early 1940 (in the fifth column). There was an effort to phase out the J-spout cans as soon as the crowntainers were released and the j-spouts were all  but phased out before  the war. There were two known  olive-drab J-spouts produced during the war, both are rare cans.

** Can also has matching high profile label can (sixth column).
